The Legend of the Legendary Heroes Season 2 Release Date & Know More Insights

This faithful translation of the 11-volume light novel series by Takaya Kagami, titled “Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu,” is a must-see for source material fans. However, this commitment to the source frequently proves to be its greatest downfall. Despite all the advantages that can come from being faithful to the source material, the storyline of the first season’s light novel cannot keep up with the show’s pacing.

On the bright side, the excellent animation and well-drawn figures make it a delightful bishounen. It’s not a show everyone will enjoy, but it’s worth trying. If you’ve already seen the first episode, here’s what you need to know about the show’s upcoming second season.

Sion Astal

Sion, one of the show’s three central characters, is a perfectionist. He has an intense patriotism and a deep desire to see his country succeed. He is tall, has long, silvery hair, and has a look of sincerity on his face that is often visible in his interactions with others. His half-brothers first disliked him because of his humble birthplace.

However, he had a strong sense of justice and swore to alter the corrupt culture he lived in at an early age. Everyone close to Ryner adores him, including his best friend. He is a master of military tactics and often sacrifices short-term gains to attain long-term objectives. His main flaw is that he cannot choose between two bad options.

Ryner Lute

Another series protagonist, Ryner, is gifted with magical abilities but lacks drive and initiative. He possesses the Alpha Stigma ability, one of the four curses that ancient Dark Gods have purportedly handed on to humans. He and Sion become fast friends in the Roland Royal Special Military Academy, where they first meet.
